Meditation

Mediation was origionally meant to nurture a person's spiritual well-being, but the modern generation is largely interested in its relaxation and stress-busting benefits. If children start meditating early, their brains and intellectual capacity tend to develop rapidly. They also stand to benefit emotionally, psychologically and physically.

The student benefit by improvement in memory, greater creativity, reduced anxiety, prevention from addictions, positive behavioural changes, more confidence and positive attitude. The students practicve abstinence from actions which cause harm. They undertake few moral precepts, practicing abstention from killing, stealing, lying, and the use of intoxicants. The observations of these precepts allows the mind to calm. Anapan is a practice in Vipassana which helps to develop control over the unruly mind. This is practiced at the school by students from class 4 onwards.
